Dr. Martin's research specialty is computational space plasma physics and nonlinear dynamics. He is currently involved in modeling the earth's magnetosphere and investigating charged particle dynamics in the geomagnetic tail and magnetopause regions. Dr. Martin is co-director of the Center for Research and Instruction in Space Physics, a research group involved in space physics research and physics education.
