The physics department
offers much more than the usual study
abroad program: for several years, we have been offering
summer
undergraduate research experiences overseas
through a faculty -developed program funded by the National
Science Foundation.
Students have lived
and participated in research projects in China
and Poland.
Often a life-changing experience, past participants report
the excitement of being part of the international effort
in physics and all the new experiences they've had in a different
culture.
